Note that the Ledger Nano S has a capacity to view and transfer 4 coins with the device at one time. You can remove wallet apps in your device and reload them later to own more than 4 crypto currencies obviously but Trezor will hold a much larger amount of data in their device.

Price

Ledger Nano S – 79€ (2 for 158€)

Trezor – 89 (classic version) 139€ (Model T)

The original Trezor is what the majority of hodlers use to store crypto currency, the higher price point on the “advanced” model T, doesn’t have security features or differences we could see to make the Model T “necessary” to store bitcoin and altcoins.

**Note for idiotsDo NOT buy a trezor or ledger from a seller on Amazon that is NOT Trezor or Ledger. Tampering with the packages and adding malware to these devices HAS happened. They are sealed and secured by the manufacturers for a reason cheapo.

Security

There is no question of either the Nano S or Trezor being secure devices for people to store crypto currencies and bitcoin on, so we have left the details for geeks that are more intelligent in this area.

Many have tried to hack or find a flaw in Ledger Nano S dual chip architecture (ST31/STM32, Certification level: CC EAL5+), the integrity of their firmware is guaranteed by cryptographic attestation. The features for PIN CODE login and ensuring the device is malware proof and private have been tested by many in the cryptography game and we just trust them at this point.
